About Martin Pagáč Film Festival
Who are we? What are we? And who are we named after?
Our History
The story of Martin Pagáč Film Festival (or back then Dvořákovo gymnázium Film festival) begun in spring 2019 with its “year 0”. Due to the covid-19 epidemic it wouldn’t return until three years later. Ever since then the festival has been held in spring, organized by a group of students of Dvořákovo gymnázium under the auspices of its student parliament.
This year, there won’t be just film screenings, but also music performances, tasty food and good company. You can look forward to a wide variety of activities, a lot of fun and a truly social atmosphere.

I am a high-school student with a lot of interest in culture and the world around me. I enjoy creating and I spend my free time singing, scouting and acting. In the future, I’d like to study theatre criticism.
Jakub Procházka
festival supervisor, grafic and web designer, content-maker
I am a driven scout leader and lecturer. But more importantly, I am also a photographer, filmmaker and editor. I am studying Ethics in Media Communication and my favorite activity is creating and sharing new and original things.

I am studying at Dvořákovo gymnázium in Kralupy nad Vltavou. Since the beginning of my studies I’ve tried to help with expanding student events and improving their level of organisation. I enjoy organising and participating in all kinds of projects as well as mountain hiking and photography.

I am a student at Dvořákovo gymnázium. I am also a scout, which led me to photography, which is my most fulfilling activity at the moment. I also enjoy cinematography and editing which is a field I’d like to pursue a career in, either in film or advertisement industry. My dream is to shoot a travel documentary.

I am but a humble student trying whatever I can in life. I try to help whenever possible. In my free time, I take pictures of nature, which is something I’d like to stick to in the future.

After graduating Dvořákovo gymnázium, I ended up back though it took a bit of wondering. I enjoy sharing the things I’ve learned on my journey – whether in my role as a teacher or as a scout troop leader. At the moment, I am studying English and Music at the Faculty of Education at Charles University. I spend my free time singing in a choir and learning interesting things about music.
